If you’re wondering such things as, “What makes me an American?” or “How did the Constitution come to be?” Well…Stone Owl can at least provide you the questions to ask yourself in order to start digging up the answer.

Stand Out as a Stone Owl Scholar.

You: Why would I take time to be part of the Stone Owl Scholar program? I’m busy, don’t cha know?

1. To learn. (Because you may not understand things like the Constitution, taxes and why the government seems whacked, etc.)

2. To show a prospective college or employer that you have ambition and why you stand out from the hoi polloi (Google it).

3. To gain a minimum $3,000 scholarship to help you pay for college or vocational training. (That’s a heck of a deal!) Should you attend school in Abilene the scholarship amount could be doubled to $6,000.

You: Sounds too good to be true. What’s the catch?  Is it gonna cost money?

No catch. The folks who dreamed up the program want to reward students looking to improve themselves and who are willing to go above and beyond.  The upside for you is that you earn the title of “Stone Owl Scholar” and you get a hefty scholarship to help with college or an accredited vocational program. And, it costs you zero, zip, zilch.

You: How long is this going to take? How many classes are there?

The program will take 9 Sundays from 1:00-3:00 pm.

You: I’m interested in applying.
